Bird Re-do

Do you recall my bird mishap?  I tried to crackle paint some garage sale figurines & failed miserably.




 So, I wire brushed off what I could & sanded a little.  Then with the remnants of a textured spray paint, I tried to cover my new cheap chicks.  It worked very well.


They found a spot all nestled in the garden amongst rusty railroad spikes & sheltering foliage.



I guess the lesson I learned is "try, try again".  Good luck on all of YOUR garage sale revamps!

    You did a great job on your redo.........sometimes you just have to try again, annoying that it is,
    but sometimes the results are just so worth it!
    They look adorable nestled in your garden there.
