THESE FLOWERS WERE A GREAT WAY

Dry Hydrangea

I simply love hydrangeas!
They're the flowers that

 just

 keep

on

 giving

even after they're
fresh cut & enjoyed for a spell.

This dry bouquet is from LAST year.

I have five more bundles drying
 in my messy shed.

My greenhouse job involves trimming shrubs
for various businesses & civilians.
All those blooms were "rescued" from the
trash pile trailer.  I don't have the heart
to just let them go, can you blame me???

I use old jars found in the woods for vases.
Old hymn pages gave this brown
one some vintage appeal!
Lace & keys add small details too.

I have some brown blooms on my own plants,
that are past prime.  They'll be getting a spray
paint revival & added to some evergreen
for a festive Christmas arrangement.
(expect a post here on that!)

Dad Display

Just wanted to share a little snippet from my house.
I did a little rearranging recently &
am proud of my dad's display.
He's been gone for 13 years now,
but having this in my living area
keeps him fresh in my mind!

Creepy Junk

Halloween will be here & no time.
Here are a few spooky creations using junk:

This is an old Crisco bottle.
I used some adhesive vinyl
& cut the shapes out on my Cricut.
I thought the trivet and spoon were
a wicked way to display it!

Next I'm sharing a deadly vignette!

The "blood" is alcohol ink.
The rest of it seemed like odd, spooky items.
