N*O*E*L

It's the most wonderful time of the year.

Christmas is a divine holiday.

I've been cranking out lots of festive decor,

focusing on one-of-a-kind creations!

(not just Pintrest ideas)

 

So, here is my framed NOEL hanger...

 

 

I had 7 painted dollar frames left over from

a ladies retreat craft I taught.

I thought this was good way to use some of them up.

They have burlap in them with letters cut from

shimmery cardstock.  I glued the letters on.

 

There was a lot of pondering on my part,

dreaming up how to attach the frames to the long strip.

My solution?

Thumb tacks.

 

 

You can pound them in with a hammer.

They lay flat against the wall too.

It worked great.

 

Do you like the hinge on top?

This was another engineering dilemma.

I wired the hinge on, through the weave.
