FENCE

MY FATHER-IN-LAW (NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR) HIT OUR OLD FENCE POST WITH HIS TRACTOR & SNAPPED IT CLEAN OFF. AFTER ASSESSING THE DAMAGE, THE POST CAME BACK UP TO THE HOUSE WITH ME.  IT SAT, LEANING AGAINST THE DECK FOR A FEW WEEKS.  THEN, BEFORE THE WEATHER TURNED BAD,  I GAVE IT A NEW LIFE!

I FILLED A COFFEE CAN WITH MORTAR CEMENT.  ONCE THAT WAS FULLY CURED, I WRAPPED IT IN BURLAP AND TIED IT WITH TWINE.

NOW, THAT DRY SILVER WOOD CAN FOREVER BE PRESERVED & ENJOYED FOR YEARS TO COME.  THE RUSTY WOLF WAS BOUGHT IN OREGON YEARS BACK, WHEN WEIRD HAROLD WAS SELLING PLASMA CUT CREATIONS.  THERE ARE TWO OTHER POSTS STILL STANDING BY OUR DRIVEWAY.  ONE HAS A QUAIL & THE OTHER A STANDING BEAR.
