Alas, I have found another great project.
http://www.mycuttingandcreating.blogspot.com/ Looks simple, right? IT IS! |
Here are the THREE that I produced:
start by cutting 2 strips 3" x 9"
then trimmed the ends to curves
fold in half & make the middle cut first,
then one more cut on each side of the first
KEEP THEM AS EVEN AS POSSIBLE
(this is the trickiest step)
weave together!
fill them with a double layer of quilt batting
the final step is to blanket stitch around the edges
(time consuming, but worth it!)
Fabulous home made goodness!

I nestled one in my ivy topiary!

These little hearts are so sweet, Jane! And it looks as though they could be made in a flash. That's MY kind of craft...cute and quick. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to Time Travel Thursday. I hope you'll join the fun again this week. Be sure to stop by tonight, and see yourself featured.
Blessings,
