Corn Window

You may have seen my other previous blog post featuring
old windows that framed patriotic fabric.
I decided to have a vintage image show through
the old weathered wood on this project.

I've been hoarding old feed sacks for a while now.
I think this one was from a garage sale.
I usually snatch them up for $2 - $7.
But they seem to sell for much more online.
This STECKLEY Corn sack isn't very common.
I love how the words fit perfectly in
between the pane frames.

I fold the sack fabric over a cardboard backing.
It's a great way to keep your wall art lightweight.

Then I use a heavy duty staple gun to secure
the backing to the window.
It's a very easy project!
