Dry Hydrangea

I simply love hydrangeas!
They're the flowers that

 just

 keep

on

 giving

even after they're
fresh cut & enjoyed for a spell.

This dry bouquet is from LAST year.

I have five more bundles drying
 in my messy shed.

My greenhouse job involves trimming shrubs
for various businesses & civilians.
All those blooms were "rescued" from the
trash pile trailer.  I don't have the heart
to just let them go, can you blame me???

I use old jars found in the woods for vases.
Old hymn pages gave this brown
one some vintage appeal!
Lace & keys add small details too.

I have some brown blooms on my own plants,
that are past prime.  They'll be getting a spray
paint revival & added to some evergreen
for a festive Christmas arrangement.
(expect a post here on that!)
