Tranformation

Hi junkers.

Another transformation

for you today....

Before:

This sturdy wood tray 

was transformed with

 a few coats of paint &

a stencil inside.

After:

Can you see the heavy distressing?

I think that is what made this tray

come to life!  This would be so cute

on a coffee table, holding a candle &

some TV remote.

Ugly Duckling #2

Here we are again, with another ugly duckling project!

This is a thrift store rescue.

I paid $4.50

Have you ever seen one of these???

It struck me as unique & so I took the plunge.

It's a great little office organizer!

Each end got stenciled.

I sanded the edges for a distressed look.

Little projects like this are so fun,

now that the weather here has

gotten BITTER cold.

This morning there was no mercury

even on the thermometer, so it was 

more than -15 degrees! Yikes
